Pinto Beans with Ham and Sausage
Ingredients
  • 32 oz bag dry pinto beans, picked through
  • 64 oz water
  • 3T olive oil
  • 2 yellow onions, rough dice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8oz ham, chopped
  • 12oz Smoked Sausage (I used Andouille)
  • 1 pkg Sazon seasoning (optional)
  • 1 chicken bullion
  • 1 t black pepper
  • 2T cajun seasoning (I used Tony’s Creole)
  • 3 bay leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
