Ingredients

  • Instant Pot pasta! Had some frozen ground beef and thought... I'll give it a go! New to this, just got my pot about a week ago. Dabbled through a few recipes and combined some ideas.
  • Sautéed an onion, turned off
  • subheading: Layer on top of onion in this order:
  • 1 lb box mini pene pasta
  • 6 chopped cloves of garlic
  • About 6 of those frozen Dorot chopped basil cubes
  • 1 jar prepared marinara sauce (24oz)
  • filled jar with ½ beef broth and ½ water
  • tossed in some frozen spinach (½ bag)
  • ½ cup Parmesan
  • salt
  • pepper
  • frozen beef on top (lean 6%)
  • Manual to 20 min, let natural release
  • Opened and beef wasn't fully cooked. Mixed, closed and set for 4 min. Quick released.
  • Tasty! Seasoned a bit more, mixed! I think I needed bit more liquid or cut in half (10 min, mix) then 10 again. Tastes great! Bon Appétit!
