Blackened Shrimp Recipe with Asparagus in 20-Minute
Ingredients

  • ¼ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons  olive oil, divided
  • 1 tablespoon  olive oil or  unsalted butter
  • 1 ½ pound (700g) asparagus (1 or 2 bunches) rinsed and trimmed
  • ¼ cup (60ml)  vegetable stock
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce, optional (we used Sriracha)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Lemon slices, red chili pepper flakes, fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
