  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce Frank's or other Louisiana hot sauce
  • 1 ½ tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 1 ½ tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • sandwich buns as needed
