Ingredients
  • 3 - 15 oz canned garbanzo beans , rinsed. *Save liquid
  • 6 - 14oz cans (42 oz) hearts of palm , rinsed, drained and cut in half lengthwise
  • ¾ cup reserved garbanzo bean liquid
  • ¾ cup vegan mayo
  • 3 teaspoon vegan worcestershire sauce (*see note)
  • 3 teaspoon lemon juice , more to taste
  • 3 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1.5 cup sliced green onion
  • 6 teaspoons kelp granules (*see note for sub)
  • 3 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 4.5 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning (or any seafood seasoning)
  • 1.5 teaspoon sea salt, more to taste
  • 3 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 3 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular) more for breaded coating
  • ¾ cup preferred oil for pan-frying (divided)
