TRADITIONAL NEW ENGLAND SCALLOP STEW: PURE SEAFOOD
Ingredients

  • ½ cup onions shallots or 1 small bunch of chives, diced
  • ¼ cup white wine dry, optional
  • ½ pound sea scallops about 10 to 12
  • 2 cups half and half or cream or whole milk, grass-fed
  • ½ cup clam broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • subheading: OPTIONAL SEASONINGS:
  • dollop butter walnut-sized optional but recommended
  • pinch Paprika
  • pinch cayenne
  • pinch celery salt
