  • 1 cup white onion, diced
  • 1 to 2 jalapeños, minced
  • ⅓ cup cilantro, chopped fine
  • 1 teaspoon Mexican oregano
  • 1 1⁄2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons water, chilled
