Easy Shallow-Fried Pork Katsu (Japanese Fried Pork Cutlets)
Ingredients
  • 2 pork cutlets, pounded very thin (or purchase schnitzel cut)
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup panko (adding more if needed)
  • vegetable oil for frying, about 1 cup
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 green onion, sliced on the diagonal, greens only
  • 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce or tonkatsu sauce
