Herbed Turkey Burger
Ingredients
  • subheading: Burger:
  • 1.5 lb ground turkey
  • ¾ cups oats, ground in food processor (with texture still, not as fine as flour)
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper
  • LOTS of finely chopped herbs (used oregano, parsley, and basil)
  •  
  • subheading: Herb sauce:
  • Lots of finely chopped herbs
  • Mayonnaise
  • Oat milk to thin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Steps
  1. Start heating cast iron skillet over medium high heat
  2. Mix all burger ingredients together. Form in to 7 patties.
  3. Cover bottom of skillet with avocado oil. When hot, add 4 patties.
  4. When golden, flip. Cook until internal temp reaches 160. Repeat with second batch.
  5. Meanwhile, make sauce.
  6. Enjoy
Notes
  • Serve over a bed of greens with roasted bell peppers or other veggies, and sauce drizzled over top. Fries on the side :D

  • -Thai spiced with ginger, cilantro, scallion, coconut milk and tahini sauce
