Garlic and Mozzarella Bread
Ingredients
  • subheading: For the bread:
  • 2 cups wholemeal flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoon sourdough
  • 1 teaspoon of fructose
  • ½ cup warm almond milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of melted vegetable butter or a teaspoon of olive oil
  • 250 g mozzarella cheese or another cheese of your choice such as Gruyère, fresh goat cheese, feta or fresh cheese
  • A little whole wheat flour for kneading
  • A pinch of salt
  • subheading: For the garlic butter:
  • 2 teaspoons softened vegetable butter or 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons green onions cut into small pieces
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • A sharp knife for scoring bread dough
  • A little black pepper
  • An egg yolk to brush the edges of the bread
