Chicken or Beef Schnitzel with Jaeger Sauce

230g mushrooms, sliced

½ cup chicken broth

½ cup white wine

½ cup plus 2 tablespoons cream, divided (or sour cream)

2 tablespoons flour

1 teaspoon salt

Freshly ground pepper

3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Curry powder to taste (optional)

subheading: For the chicken/beef:

400 grams chicken breast/beef

1 cup flour, for covering the chicken

3 to 4 eggs, lightly whisked

1 cup breadcrumbs

¼ teaspoon salt

Freshly ground pepper

Oil, for frying
