Applesauce
Homemade in Michigan

Servings: 6 to 7

Servings: 6 - 7
Ingredients
  • 9 good sized apples
  • 2 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • ¼ c liquid (I used Hot Apple Cider flavored tea)
  • ¼ C Red Hots (generous ¼ cup)
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon (⅛ tsp approx)
Steps
  1. Peel apples. Core and cut up. Place all except cinnamon in Pressure Cooker. Process for 2 to 3 min HP. Then do a NR. Remove lid. Add cinnamon and stir. Taste and add any necessary spices or sugar.
  2. Refrigerate or freeze.
Notes
  • Made this 09 to 13-17 and it was excellent. Used a 3 minute processing time, but thinking 2 min would have resulted in a few more chunks.
  • Next batch used 2 min HP then NR. Perfect!
