Ingredients
  • 2 cups sprouted whole wheat flour
  • ½ cup organic cane sugar
  • 1 large ripe banana - mashed
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cacao powder (preferably Nativas Naturals brand)
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon fine grain pink Himalayan salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - alcohol free
  • ⅓ cup of crushed walnuts (they should be very crushed almost like powder),plus another ¼ cup to sprinkle on top of the muffins
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 medium zucchini - washed and finely grated with skin on
