  • 2 teaspoons finely grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
  • One 14-ounce container firm tofu
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1 scallion, thinly sliced
  • Steamed rice, for serving
