Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons Olive Oil
- 1 cup Onion, Chopped
- 1 Jalapeno Pepper, seeded and finly chopped
- 3 to 4 Cloves of Garlic, minced
- 2 lbs 93% Ground Turkey (or chicken)
- 2 teaspoons dried Oregano
- 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- ¾ teaspoon Himalayan Salt (or sea salt)
- ½ Fresh Ground Pepper
- 1 to 2 Chipotle-Chile Pepper in Adobo Sauce, finely chopped (to taste)
- 1 to 1½ tablespoon Adobe Sauce (from chipotle-chile peppers - to taste)
- 1 14.5 oz. can of Organic Diced Tomatoes (No Salt or Sugar Added)
- ½ Chicken Broth (or Chicken Bone Broth)

- 2 tablespoon Doube Concentrated Tomato Paste (if you want your mix a little thicker, is usually skip it to avoid the sugar).

Steps
- Add oil to a large skillet , heat over medium heat.
- Add onion and jalapeno peppers and saute until onion just starting to be translucent. Add garlic and continue to saute for a minute or two.
- Add ground turkey to onion mixture and cook until meat is no longer pink. Stir frequenlty to keep from sticking and to break up the turkey.
- Add all seasonings and stir to mix (oregano - fresh ground pepper).
- Stir in chipotle-chili pepper and adobe sauce, mix well.
- Add diced tomatoes and chicken broth.
- Bring the taco mix to a low-boil. Mix well.
- Reduce heat to a simmer and simmer for about ½ hour.
