Baked Ginger Miso Chicken Thighs
Ingredients
  • 8 bone-in, skin on chicken thighs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder (not baking soda/ bicarbonate soda)
  • 2 teaspoons onion granules
  • 1 teaspoon garlic granules
  • subheading: Miso Sauce:
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) water
  • 3 tablespoons (50 grams) gluten free miso paste
  • 3 tablespoons (45 ml) gluten free tamari or soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) rice vinegar
  • ¼ cup (55 grams ) light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoons grated ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • subheading: Optional Additions:
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli flakes
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 to 3 spring onions chopped
