THE Vegetarian Sausage Rolls
Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Onion, chopped
  • 2 x 400g cans brown lentils
  • ¼ cup bbq sauce
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 3 sheets puff pastry
  • 2 tbsps sesame seeds
Steps
  1. Fry onion and let cool.
  2. Stir through lentils, sauce, pecans, breadcrumbs and parsley.
  3. Sprinkle east sheet of pastry with half of the sesame seeds.
  4. Cut pastry sheets in half, fill with mixture, brush edges with a little soy milk and roll up.
  5. Brush with soy milk and sprinkle over remaining sesame seeds.
  6. Cut each roll in half or into six party size pieces.
  7. Bake at 200 for 30 mins
