  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon:
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground allspice berries
  • For the rice:
  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
