Banana, Date and Walnut Muffins
Ingredients
  • 2 cups (500 mL) whole wheat flour
  • ¾ cup (175 mL) granulated sugar
  • ½ cup (125 mL) old fashioned or quick oats
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) baking powder
  • ½ tsp. (2 mL) baking soda
  • ½ tsp. (2 mL) ground cinnamon
  • 1 ¼ cups (300 mL) ripe, mashed banana (about 3 bananas)
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup (175 mL) plain low-fat yogurt
  • ⅓ cup (75 mL) Becel® Buttery Taste margarine*, melted
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup (75 mL) coarsely chopped walnuts
  • ¾ cup (175 mL) chopped pitted dates
