Full ingredients fit in 8 quart for 6 quart half the recipe.*Olive Garden-like Pasta e Fagioli

(Pasta and Beans)

This is my version of two recipes I found

3 teaspoons oil

2 pounds ground beef

I large or 2 small onion - chopped

5 to 6 large carrots - sliced thinly or julienned

3 to 5 celery stalks- diced

2-28 oz. canned tomatoes - diced

2-14 oz. red kidney beans *see note

2-14 oz. white kidney beans *see note

5 cups beef stock or equivalent bouillon cubes and water

3 teaspoons oregano, basil or Italian seasoning (I used Italian seasoning) you can use more if you wish it spicier

2 teaspoons pepper

2 teaspoons parsley (optional)

1 ½ teaspoon Tabasco or other hot sauce (optional)

I large can your choice spaghetti sauce

8 ounces (1 cup) dry pasta shell, or ditali or small pasta of your choice

2 envelopes beef gravy mix or equivalent bulk to make two cups gravy
