Servings: 4 dz cookies

1 3/4 cup flour 1 ¾ cup flour
1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt ½ tsp salt
1/2 cup butter ½ cup butter
1/2 cup peanut butter ( smooth or chunky) ½ cup peanut butter ( smooth or chunky)
3/4 cup packed brown sugar ¾ cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar ¼ cup sugar

Mix flour, baking soda & salt in bowl. In larger bowl combine butter & peanut butter until creamy; add sugars and beat until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and beat well, gradually beat in flour mixture.
Shape into 1 inch balls, roll in sugar & place on an uncreased cookie sheet. BAKE 350º for 10 minutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheet and press chocolate kiss into center of each cookie. Cool
