Ingredients
  • 250gms plain flour
  • 2tsp baking powder
  • 2tsp sugar
  • ½tsp salt
  • 2tbsp oil
  • 110 to 130mls milk
Steps
  1. Sift all the dry ingredients in a bowl. In a separate bowl mix the milk & oil. Make a well in centre of dry mixture, pour the milk/oil mixture. Start kneading by hand for 10mins or like me let the kenwood chef do the job. If dough is too sticky add a bit more flour. Put in a oiled bowl, cover with a damp tea towel & rest for 5 to 10mins. Make about 5 to 6 balls. Roll out quite thin, if u can do the teardrop shape go ahead. Add toppings like garlic slices & chopped coriander or you can add nigella seeds. Put a baking tray under a hot grill. Let it get hot then start putting the naan bread on it. Cook for 2 to 3mins till cooked & nice & brown. Add butter serve.
