This girl makes some really good wholesome recipes with healthy ingredients. I will use Spelt or Khorasan Flour or Coconut flour instead of Wheat Flour - they are much healthier.
Ingredients
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted (may sub coconut oil, olive oil or vegetable oil))
  • ½ cup honey or pure maple syrup
  • 1 cup pure canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk (of choice (dairy, almond, etc.))
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 ½ cups white whole wheat flour (or all purpose flour)
