Pecan Shortbread

Ingredients
  • ¾ lb butter
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 3½ c flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1½ c chopped pecans
Steps
  1. whip butter, sugar and extracts
  2. sift in flour/salt then add pecans
  3. roll into log in parchment. cool to firm then slice
  4. bake 350 for 10 to 14 min until lightly golden
