I use Rapadura or Honey or Maple instead of White Sugar! It goes through a highly toxic process and people are not even told about that!

½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick), at room temperature

1 cup sugar

1 large egg, at room temperature

1 cup mashed bananas (about 2 ½ large bananas)

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 cups all-purpose flour

Pinch salt

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon ground nutmeg or mace

½ teaspoon ground cloves

1 cup chopped pecans (walnuts and chocolate chips are fine alternatives)
