Roasted Seaweed Snack
Ingredients
  • Seaweed sheets (unroasted, unseasoned) - 10
  • Sesame oil - 1 Tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 Tablespoon
Steps
  1. Use a cooking brush (or plastic gloves) and lightly coat one-side of the seaweed sheet with sesame oil.
  2. Get a pinch of salt and sprinkle on to the seaweed sheet
  3. Turn a large frying pan on medium-low heat - be patient and wait for the pan to get hot
  4. Place the seaweed sheet in and pat-down with a spatula. You will see that it will immediately change color to a dark green (see video link for reference). Let it cook for 3 to 5 seconds. Flip it over and cook for 3 to 5 seconds. Adjust heat if needed.
  5. Take kitchen scissors and cut sheet in half. Then cut into thirds.
  6. They taste delicious by themselves or you can eat with rice
  7. To store, place into Tupperware or Ziploc bag and place in freezer (not the refrigerator!)
