Ingredients

  • 2 cups scalded milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup shortening ( I used oil)
  • About 6 cups flour

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ milk
  • Bring to boil, take off heat and add
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
