Eggs in a Nest

Ingredients
  • 4 slices whole grain bread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 slices ham
  • 2 slices provolone cheese, cut in quarters
Steps
  1. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium low heat and spray with oil spray.
  2. Using a biscuit cutter cut a whole in the middle of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread along with the cut out circle in the skillet.
  4. Crack one egg inside the whole of the bread slice and cook until the egg has set well (white will still be somewhat liquid at this point).
  5. Carefully flip the bread and egg over and cook until egg white has set well. And flip the bread circle over as well to cook evenly.
  6. Flip the bread and egg over again and place one slice of ham on top and place 2 quarters of the cheese on top of the ham and cook until cheese has melted slightly.
  7. Place bread circle on top of cheese and serve.
  8. Repeat with the rest of the ingredients.
