Tortellini with basil cream sauce

Ingredients
  • 2 shallots minced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1T flour
  • ¼ C butter
  • ¼ C white wine
  • ⅔ oz fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 ¼ C cream
  • 1C Parmesan cheese
  • 18oz cooked and drained tortellini
Steps
  1. In medium saucepan over medium heat, sauté shallots and garlic in butter until softened. Add flour, cook while stirring for one minute. Stir in wine, cook one more minute. Slowly add cream, mixing until smooth. Add cheese, cook until smooth and thick. Add basil, mix well and pour over cooked tortellini. Garnish with fresh basil.
