Venison Mushroom Meatloaf
Ingredients

  • 1 small carrot, finely grated
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

  • 1 clove garlic, minced or finely grated
  • 1 ½ pounds ground venison, bison or lean ground beef
  • ¾ cup quick-cooking oats
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fine salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • One (8-ounce) can no-salt-added tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon unsulphured molasses
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
