Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joe
Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground round beef
  • 3 tablespoons steak sauce
  • ½ cup beef stock
  • 4 dinner rolls
  • subheading: Cheese Sauce:
  • Provolone cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup provolone, shredded

Steps
  1. In large skillet fry ground beef completely. Drain off the fat, then add in the steak sauce and beef stock, bring to a boil and cook about 2 minutes.
  2. For the cheese sauce, melt the butter in a medium-size pot over medium-high heat. Stir in the flour and cook about 1 minute. Whisk in milk, bring up to a bubble and let thicken. Turn off heat and stir in the cheese.
  3. Place a scoop of meat on hoagie of sloppy joe bun add cheese on top of meat. -- I think you can use pita bread, whole wheat crackers.. I would make it like a dip
