Ingredients
  • 1 ½ cups oat milk
  • 2 ½ tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup freshly brewed espresso preferred or very strong coffee (½ cup water and 1 tablespoon instant coffee)
  • ⅛ teaspoon peppermint extract
  • Sweetener of your choice to taste (I used 1 tablespoon sugar)
  • Vegan whipped cream (optional)
  • Peppermint candies, crushed (optional)
  • Chocolate chips (optional)
Steps
  1. If you want some foam, set aside half the milk to froth. Otherwise, in a small pan, heat cocoa powder and milk. Stir until cocoa powder dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in espresso/coffee, peppermint extract, and sweetener.
  3. If you set aside some milk, froth it and add it to the latte.
  4. Add garnishes if desired.
