  • 12 ounces tomato paste
  • water (1 ¾ cans full - use tomato paste can)
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 bay leaf
