Servings: Makes 2 double or 4 singles

2 1/2 c. flour 2 ½ c. flour
1 1/2 c. shortening 1 ½ c. shortening
3/4 c. water ¾ c. water
1 tsp. karo syrup 1 tsp. karo syrup

mix flour and salt with a fork, work shortening until dough is like putty- add water and karo and mix.
Add ½ c. more flour and mix. Roll out as thin as possible.
Bake at 375 F of 55 to 60 min.
