1 (5-ounce) can evaporated milk

3 eggs

1 cup packed brown sugar

2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice

1/ 2 teaspoon salt

1 (15-¼-ounce) package yellow cake mix

1/ 2 cup (1 stick) butter, cut into thin slices

1/ 2 cup chopped pecans

1/ 2 cup cinnamon baking chips (see Note.)
