  • ½ red bell pepper chopped
  • ½ yellow onion chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves finely minced or pressed through a garlic press
  • ¾ cups chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
