Pickled Onions
Ingredients
  • 1 large red onion, sliced thin
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • ΒΌ cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp salt
Steps
  1. Slice onion and place in a bowl or a jar with a lid for storage.
  2. Bring water and vinegar to a boil. Once boiling, stir in sugar and salt until dissolved.
  3. Pour over onions and let sit for 30 minutes.
  4. Drain liquid to eat right away or keep liquid and store in the refrigerator.
