Chicken Corn Egg Drop Soup
Ingredients
  • 2 ounces chicken breast (115g, finely chopped)
  • 0.5 tablespoon water
  • 0.5 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 0.5 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 0.75 cups fresh or frozen sweet corn
  • 2.5 cups chicken stock (organic or homemade preferred)
  • 0.25 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 0.5 pinch white pepper
  • 0.13 cup cornstarch (combined with ½ cup chicken stock)
  • 1 egg whites (lightly beaten, you can also include the yolks if you want)
  • 0.5 scallion (chopped)
  • 0.5 tablespoon cilantro (chopped, optional)
  • Freshly ground black pepper (optional)
