Mashed potatoes with KA
Ingredients
  • 3 potatoes (not the super small ones) equals about 1 lb
  • 1 lb potatoes is good for abt 1 serving
Steps
  1. Cook potatoes in elec pc just covered w water and some garlic powder or fresh garlic for 10 to 15 mins depending on how many you have.
  2. After they are cooked, drain then and let the steam escape. Use the big flat strainer.
  3. Put in KA with white paddle/mixer attachment. Mix until they are just broken up and smashed. Switch to the whisk attachment. Add about 2 TBSP milk and butter and teaspoon or so of salt. Mix/whisk until smooth. Done!

  5. * 2 pounds Yukon Gold Potatoes, Peeled And Cut Into Large Cubes
  6. * ½ cup Heavy Cream
  7. * ¼ cup Milk
  8. * 3 Tablespoons Butter, Softened Or Melted
  9. * Salt And Pepper
  10. To make the mashed potatoes, place cubed potatoes in a pot filled with cold water. Place on the stove set over high heat and bring to a boil. Cook for about 5 minutes, until potato cubes are fork-tender. -or cook in pressure cooker- Drain potatoes, then spread them out on a sheet pan in a single layer and let sit for a couple minutes so the steam can escape. Use a fork or potato masher to mash the potatoes, - or kitchen aid- then stir in cream, milk, butter, and cheese. Make any necessary seasoning adjustments with salt and pepper.
