Ramen Noodle Slaw
Ingredients
  • 1 pound coleslaw mix
  • ¼ cup chopped green onion
  • 1 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 packages chicken-flavored ramen noodles (uncooked and crumbled)
  • 1 cup oil
  • ⅓ to ½ cup cider vinegar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
Steps
  1. Put the coleslaw in a large bowl.
  2. Add the onions, almonds and sunflower seeds to the slaw mix and toss.
  3. In a separate bowl mix oil, vinegar, sugar, soy sauce and seasoning packets from the Ramen noodles.
  4. Pour over the coleslaw mixture and toss.
  5. Chill at least ½ hour before serving.
  6. Right before serving crumble the Ramen noodles and add to the coleslaw mixture.
