The Best Healthy Berry Crisp (Gluten-Free + Easy!)
Ingredients
  • 6 Cups Mixed Berries (I used frozen mixed berries with sliced strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries)
  • ¼ Cup Pure Maple Syrup (can sub honey)
  • 3 Tbs Tapioca Flour (Can sub arrowroot powder or 1.5 Tbs cornstarch)
  • ½ tsp Lemon Juice (optional) (I used fresh)
  • subheading: Topping:
  • 1 Cup Rolled Oats (good gluten-free brand)
  • ⅔ Cup Oat Flour (I haven’t tested another flour here, but I think whole wheat or almond flour will also work. Please let me know if you try either of these options!)
  • ¼ Cup Coconut Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp Pink Salt
  • 6 Tbs Cubed Cold Grass-fed Butter (can sub vegan butter or solid coconut oil)
  • Optional: ½ Cup Coarsely Chopped Walnuts (or nut of choice)
