IP Beans - Pinto or Black Beans
Ingredients
  • Approx 1 cup dried beans to 2 cups water, so 4 cups water and 8 cups beans
Steps
  1. subheading: Cook on manual for:
  2. 30 minutes and very careful quick pressure release for pinto beans that will get additional cooking in a chili,
  3. 35 minutes and natural pressure release for pinto beans to use without additional cooking (refried beans),
  4. 25 minutes for black beans
Notes
  • 16 oz black beans = 2.5 cups so use 5 cups water
