Cheesy Mozzarella Green Bean Melt
  • 1 ½ pounds fresh French green beans, halved, ends removed (or use 2 cans green beans, rinsed and drained)
  • 10 oz. mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¼ white onion, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
