Iddo’s yummy Instant Pot dish

Ingredients
  • 1 cup garbanzo beans
  • 1 cup red lentils
  • 2 to 3 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 cup water (plus 1-½ to 2 cups with garbanzo beans)
  • 1 Tbsp turmeric
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tobacco sauce (optional)
  • Sliced Avocado
Steps
  1. 1. Cook garbanzo beans in IP for 45 minutes (wash dry beans and put in IP, cover with about 1+ c water-enough to cover beans, then press the “beans/chili” button and set for 45 min)
  2. 2. Add the remaining ingredients, other than avocado, and cook for 25 more minutes
  3. 3. Top with sliced avocado
Notes
  • I didn’t add enough water with garbanzo beans so maybe add 1-½ to 2 cups. 489 calories per serving.
