Debbie's Unstuffed Cabbage
Pressure Cooker

Ingredients
  • 1 tbs. coconut oil (or any cooking oil) (omit in non stick cookers)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 medium savoy cabbage, roughly chopped
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 Can Mild RoTel tomatoes
  • 1 small can Tomato Sauce
  • ½ Cup water (rinse cans with this then add to pot)
  • 3 tbs. apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbs. brown sugar
  • 1 tbs. worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbs. paprika
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. mustard powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Steps
  1. Brown meat and onions. Drain in a colander to remove all grease. Return beef and onions to the pot. Add remaining ingredients except cabbage and water. Stir. Pour water around sides of meat but do not stir. Add roughly chopped cabbage. Do not stir.
  2. Close lid and lock vent. Set time to 5 minutes. After cooking is complete cover vent and do a QR (quick release). Open cooker and serve over rice or riced cauliflower.
Notes
  • To slim this recipe down replace 1 lb beef with 1 lb lean ground turkey. May want to increase Worcestershire to 2 T to kick up the flavor.
  • 03-01 to 19 making for the 1st time in a couple of years.
