The Fluffiest White Bread
So flavourful! So soft and squishy! I've converted this recipe to work in a bread machine, plus I use all-purpose flour and Vital Wheat Gluten instead of bread flour.
Ingredients
  • 1 cup minus 1 Tbsp. (200g) milk
  • 1⁄4 cup (60 g) unsalted butter, at room temperature or slightly melted
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. (6 g) kosher salt
  • 1 large egg at room temperature
  • 2⅓ cups plus 1 Tbsp. (340 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. vital wheat gluten
  • 1¼ tsp. (4 g) instant dry yeast
