Aunt Jeanette's Peach Custard Pie

Ingredients
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tb butter, melted
  • 2 tb AP flour
  • 2 well-beaten eggs
  • ¼ tsp almond extract
  • 5 to 6 peaches, peeled and sliced
Steps
  1. Blend the sugar, butter, flour, eggs, and the almond extract
  2. Place the peaches in a pan on top of a nine-inch pie crust (top crust is optional).
  3. Pour the blended mixture over the peaches
  4. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes and then turn the oven down to 350 degrees and bake an additional 30 minutes.
Notes
  • Serve warm or cooled with ice cream.
