Thanksgiving Dinner Con't
Ingredients
  • Mushroom Gravy
  • ½ cup onion
  • 1 tablespoon garlic
  • 2 cup mushroom
  • 1 cup water, to cook onion and garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt - Celtic Sea salt Fine
  • 1 tablespoon kuzu with 1 cup cold water
  • 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • Boil onion, garlic with one cup water for 10 minutes
  • Add mushrooms and salt cook another 5 minutes
  • Mix ½ cup cold water and kuzu until discovered add to mushroom gravy
  • Turn off the fire and add soy sauce and Nutritional yeast
  • Cranberry Apple Chutney
  • 1 8oz/223g package fresh or frozen cranberries
  • ¾ cup water
  • 1 apple, chopped
  • 1 small piece ginger, grated and squeezed for juice
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Put the ingredients in a pot, and bring to a low simmer. Leave this, covered, for 10 minutes or until the cranberries have popped open.
  • If you want your chutney to be a jam-type consistency, boil for longer or add some ground flax seeds after you take it off the heat.
  • Let the chutney cool, and then serve hot or chill. I hope you have fun with this cranberry apple chutney recipe, the latest of my healthy vegan recipes.(Flax seed will make it thicker)
