Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Chicken

Ingredients
  • 1.5 lb Boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¾ cup BBQ Sauce (Sometimes WalMart has sugar-free)
Steps
  1. Line a slow cooker with a disposable liner.  Place chicken breasts in the cooker.  Season with salt and garlic powder.  Pour the BBQ sauce over the chicken.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the chicken is falling apart.  Shred the chicken with 2 forks and serve.
Notes
  • There is a recipe for homemade BBQ sauce on page 169.  If making this, I would leave out the liquid hickory smoke.
