Banana Bread / Banana dough
great base for cakes but also a good sports snack
Ingredients
  • 245g Spelt flour
  • 300g Banana, ripe
  • 2tsp Baking Powder
  • 100g Applesauce
  • 15g Coconut oil
  • 75g Almond Milk, or other plant milk
  • 1tsp vanilla extract, I recommend FlavorDrops from Myprotein
Steps
  1. Mash bananas with a fork and combine with applesauce. Then mix in all the other ingredients.
  2. If the dough is too thick, add a bit of water.
  3. Pour into bread form.
  4. Bake for about 45 to 50 minutes at 180C. Use a toothpick test to check if the bread is baked through.
Notes
  • Spelt flour soaks more liquid than regular flour so adjust liquids as needed.
